The nomination process is open to individuals, organizations, and institutions across Africa and the global community.

Each nomination should include:

  • Full name of nominee (individual or organization)

Nominations are submitted through the Africa Advancement Forum online portal. All entries must be clear, accurate, and supported by verifiable information.

Screening Process

All submissions undergo an initial review by the Secretariat to ensure:

  • Eligibility requirements are met
  • Submissions are complete
  • Alignment with award categories

Incomplete or ineligible entries will not proceed to the next stage.

Final award recipients are selected based on merit, impact, and overall contribution. The process prioritizes credibility and measurable outcomes over visibility or popularity.
